Fees Policy
A fee deposit must be paid prior to the first game of the season, if no funds are received, then a player will not be allowed to take the field and will be withdrawn from registration.
Outstanding Fees
A player will not be registered (and will not take the field) at the start of the playing season if fees from previous years are outstanding. Bad debtors will not be provided with a clearance from Ballina Hockey Club to play for another club until all outstanding fees are paid.
Explanatory Notes
*1 Associate (Non playing members) – covers non registered players, eg. non playing coaches, team managers, umpires, other officials etc. This enables non playing members an entitlement to a voice and a vote at Club meetings. Fees kept to a nominal fee as these people give their time and commitment to the Club but do not play hockey.
*2 Family rates – Applies to families of 4 or more (living together). Two adults pay full senior fees and children pay FNCHA portion of fees.
*3 Students – (eg. university and TAFE student players over 18): Ballina Hockey Club is required to pay full senior Association fees. No discount applies.
*4 Part season – 1) If a player joins the Club part way during a season, full FNCH fees are required to be paid. It is up to the discretion of the Committee to determine Ballina Hockey Club’s additional levy for that portion of the fee. 2) If a player only plays one game for Ballina Hockey Club, then the player is liable for the full FNCH fees (not BHC levy).
