Closure of Fields

Matches played on grass fields may occasionally be postponed or cancelled due to wet weather. Notification of field closures  is often made at the last minute in an effort to maximise the chance of the playing. For the most up to date advice, please visit the FNC Hockey wet weather information.

If you would like to confirm whether a field is open and are unable to contact your coach, try the local council wet weather hotline or their web site, or listen to local radio stations:

Turf games (junior and senior) and turf training will always be on regardless of the weather (only cancelled during lightening or major floods).
