Umpiring - If you umpire, or would like to learn or develop your skills, we can assist you. Umpires are required from U9s through to A-grade so we will be able to help you gain accreditation and improve your umpiring skills at a level that is most appropriate for you. If you are interested in umpiring, check out our online umpiring resources, and contact Helen Rankin Jarvie on 0414 320 036 or email her at webmaster@ballinahockey.org.au .
Coaching – coaches are an important part of our club and we are always happy to welcome new coaches and assistant coaches. If you can help, please contact our Club President.
Volunteering - our club relies on volunteers in many areas – club admin, turf management, canteen, coaching, umpiring, cooking the BBQ, organising events…. and the list goes on. Many hands make light work and any time you can give would be much appreciated. Why not come along to the next club meeting and see how best you can help out. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, at our clubhouse. The first meeting for 2012 will be on Monday 6 Feb. If you have experience in particular areas, email our Club Secretary to let us know so we can make the most of your time volunteering.
