FNC hockey competition

Ballina Hockey Club competes in the Far North Coast hockey competition with games played at the turf pitch in Goonellabah and on grass fields in Lismore, Alstonville, Casino, Byron Bay, Ballina, Coraki, Woodburn and Evans Head.

The A-Grade men’s and women’s team also play a cross-over round against teams from the Tweed Heads/Gold Coast competition.

Construction on the new turf in Ballina is expected to begin in late August 2010. The addition of a second turf on the far north coast will be a huge asset for the local competition and will assist in improving the standard of hockey throughout the association.
