Sign on days – seniors and juniors

  • 23 February 2019 Saturday 11 am-1pm BHC turf club house
  • 2 March 2019 Saturday – 11am-1pm BHC turf club house

Grading day

  • 10 March 2019 – Sunday BHC turf
    • women 9-11am
    • men 11am-1pm
    • all players asked to attend (it is essential that ALL WOMEN including juniors playing seniors wishing to be placed in a team for 2019 register with the club, attend grading day OR notify the selectors as we have closed our books on grading day for the last few years

preseason fitness

  • 3 February 2019 5pm Sunday BHC turf first muster day
    • for a light fitness session followed by a social game of hockey.
  • 5 February 6-7:30 pm Tuesdays – preseason fitness will then continues weekly
    • 30 mins speed, endurance, strength and core followed by a social game of hockey.
    • all senior players (incl juniors playing seniors) welcome.
    • players wishing to be considered for A Grade and Reserve Grade are expected to attend as these sessions are considered during selections.

Men’s preseason fitness

  • 6 February 2019 6pm Wednesdays: BHC turf – preseason fitness commences

Beaches Hockey Club

  • 16 February 2019 Saturday morning, BHC turf social hockey
    • social hockey games between Beaches Hockey Club Coffs Harbour and Ballina Hockey Club
    • Beaches club uses these games for grading so will contain A Grade/Reserve Grade players.

Twilight hockey – mixed masters

  • 11 February 2019 Monday BHC turf – 5:30 pm sign on and registration – games 6-7 pm
    • mixed masters competition (over 35s) Monday evenings. 6 -week mixed competition – open to all men and women over 35– all skill levels – elite to the hopeless, but happy to have a crack. New, inexperienced and current players all welcome – this is a fun, social event. The bar will be open so you can hang around for a chat and a laugh afterwards.
    • cost: $5 per player, enter your team or enter as an individual player (we will find a team for you).

    • age group:        9-12 years (8.30am – 10.00am)
    • age group:        13-16 years (10.30am – 12.00 noon)
    • age group:        16–60 years (6.00pm – 8.00pm)

Season club training

  • 12 March 2019 Tuesday 6pm – Women club training commences
  • 13 March 2019 Wednesday 6pm – Men club training commences
  • 21 March 2019 Thursday 5pm – Junior club training commences * note * junior training afternoon’s and times may change following this initial training day, due to coach availability.

 FNC Hockey Competition

  • FNC Hockey is yet to advise the 2019 winter competition start dates for both junior and senior hockey
  • BHC Minkey hockey will commence the same weekend as junior hockey commences.

 BHC Meetings

  • First Monday each month 7pm – BHC turf club house – everyone welcome – players, coaches, managers, parents and associate members.
