Minkey

Minkey is a modified version of hockey designed for mixed teams of girls and boys at primary school level (U7s). It is played on a field one-quarter the size of a regular hockey field with only six players a side. Because of the smaller field and modified rules young players have much more contact with the ball. Minkey has been designed as a safe and fun introduction for children into hockey.

Minkey use a Joey ball, which is a softer ball than the normal hockey ball.
