It is a typical winter sport – usually around 6 months of competition.
It varies depending on coaching availability however Women have been training on Tuesday nights for many years and the Men train on Wednesdays. Junior teams train on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5-6pm.
Junior hockey is Minkey, Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16.
Senior hockey typically has 3 grades, players chosen based on skill level, C grade, B grade, and A grades in both Mens and Womens.
If there are additional players, we can sometimes include an A-Reserve grade.
Juniors play on Saturday mornings and can be between 8am and 12pm.
Seniors are played on Saturdays from midday, some grades are played on Friday night
Registration of players and officials through Hockey NSW includes coverage by their player accident insurance policy. Personal injury cover provides financial assistance in three key areas:
players, coaches, trainers, umpires, officials, volunteers.
